The Rainbow’s Journey

An Adventure in Asia

“Every good story begins with a rainbow.”

The Rainbow’s Journey is a children’s book that uses colorful photography and rhyming poetry to take children on a magical journey through the cultures and landscapes of South and Southeast Asia.

The book tells the tale of a young Rainbow who travels across the world – and to her delight, discovers her own rainbow colors wherever she goes. From the lime green rice paddies of Bali to the towering ivory spires of the Taj Mahal, “The Rainbow’s Journey” explores every color under the sun – including a few that surprise even Rainbow! Children and adults will love the playful, elegant way in which “The Rainbow’s Journey” brings to life a continent saturated in cultural and spiritual beauty.

The book was self-published in 2011 and sold at independent bookstores around California, including at the SF MOMA. It also remains a teaching tool that I use with all my primary school classes.
