Hi, I'm Gena Dawn

In the past 18 years as an art educator, I’ve run the art program and taught visual art at progressive schools around the world, including at the world-famous Green School in Bali. I believe art isn’t just a subject, but a way of seeing the world and of discovering who we are.
ABOUT ME

Global Art Education

Art can connect communities and empower young people to be agents of change – something we need more than ever at this moment in history. It is my mission to create an art program where students feel liberated to explore and embrace their own artistic styles, to learn about and appreciate diverse art forms from around the world, and to become change-makers in the world around them.

ABOUT ME

TEDx: How chaos and creativity can transform arts education

Inspired by my experience teaching in the jungles of Bali, my TEDxYouth@ISPrague talk explores how embracing chaos as a catalyst for creativity can lead to transformative personal growth and a reimagined approach to visual arts education.
